Hello and Happy Friday! Welcome back to Friday Favorites, where each week I’ll be sharing a handful of things I’m loving lately. Cheers to Friday, friends… we made it!

Getting an advance reader copy of A Lodge Affair by Rachel LaBerge

I met Rachel through my book Instagram a couple years ago and now she’s getting ready to publish her debut novel! Forever honored she sent me an advance reader copy of A Lodge Affair out January 16, 2024! I’ve read a few chapters so far and it’s cuuuute. Looking forward to turning more pages this weekend.

Day trip to Bald Head Island

Alex and I had so much fun climbing Old Baldy Lighthouse and biking around Bald Head Island last weekend. The weather was perfect — we couldn’t have asked for a better day.

Edward Teach beer

We finally made it to Edward Teach Brewing in Wilmington and tried a bunch of their beers which were all so good. Before we left, Alex went to buy a 6-pack and they gave us four more 6-packs for free!

Home Before Dark by Riley Sager

Totally binged this book earlier this week. My favorite Sager thriller so far — so good!

Taylor Swift’s Reputation album

Happy 6th birthday to Reputation, one of my all time favorite Tswift eras! And best album cover too. It never gets old, listening to these songs.

New combat boots

I’m not a big Walmart shopper, but I love combat boots. When I saw someone post about these boots on Instagram, I had to grab a pair. They’re so comfortable, though I did have to go up one size. Excited to add them into my boot rotation.

Have the best weekend, whatever you do! We’re going to see The Addams Family Musical at our local theater tomorrow, which is something new for us. I’m excited! See you next week for more Friday Favorites!
