Celebrating Our Second Wedding Anniversary in OBX, NC

August sipped away like a bottle of wine (Welch’s Sparkling Red Grape Juice for me)… and so did our second wedding anniversary. To celebrate two years married, Alex and I took an extended weekend road trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina where we rented a cozy, newly renovated beach house and spent time exploring the many beautiful places along the scenic North Carolina Highway 12 and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Though I’m not a frequent visitor to this well-known, we’ll-traveled area, I’ve really come to love Myrtle Beach from my handful of visits over the last decade. A bustling coastal city known best for its beachside resorts and its boardwalk filled with attractions for the whole family, Myrtle Beach is one of those places that’s sure to give you lots of fun memories to look back on for years to come.

Another “life lately” catch up post coming at you. Today I’m recapping one of my favorite months… December! December was a great month filled with lots of fun activity for me. Thanks to the Christmas and New Year’s holidays and an extremely flexible job, I was able to take the last two weeks of December off work — and let me tell you, the extended break was SO good for my mental health.
