Friday Favorites #10
Hello and Happy Friday! And happy last day of February… a month that went by SO fast compared to January! It’s another late night post for me (snuck it in a few minutes before midnight), but welcome back to Friday Favorites, where each week I’ll be sharing a handful of things I’m loving lately. Cheers to Friday friends, we made it!
Rhode glazing milk
Last week, I shared the Rhode pocket blush I recently bought, but one other Rhode product I’ve been trying (and loving) in parallel is the glazing milk. It’s so hydrating and feels so so so good on my skin! I’ve heard this product breaks some people out, so I was really cognizant and careful to test it before committing and sharing, but now that it’s been a couple weeks, I can honestly say I’m obsessed and WILL be ordering the full size bottle for sure! Hailey Bieber, what did you put into your beauty line? Because seriously, I love everything I’ve tried (so far). Put me on the PR list!
Dispo lens fun
My husband got me a Pocket Dispo lens attachment for my camera for Christmas last year, and even though it doesn’t yield super high quality images, I love the disposable camera-like feel and quality that comes with using it. A fun way to capture memories for sure. We tried it out at Carvers Creek State Park last weekend.
Sunset Beach walking with Mogul!
Finally a nice day to winter beach trip with the dog — something my soul really needed! We did the long walk down the beach to Bird Island and finished the day at around 8 miles. Was a super fulfilling afternoon and Mogul loved every minute, which makes my heart very happy.
Saie blush
I’ve been wanting to try the Saie blush in shade Spicy and now that it’s in my possession, I have to say I loveeeeee it so much. One of my current favorite products.
Merit serum restock
Empty alert! This is my second bottle. We love a good repurchase moment around here.
February book club
The squad met last night to recap our February book club pick, The Favorites by Layne Fargo, and we had such a fun conversation. Everyone else listened to the audiobook except for me, but the general consensus was a “love” across the board. Always a great night chatting books and life with friends!
Face Like Yours by Alex Porat
Discovered Face Like Yours while listening to a New Music Friday playlist on Spotify, and it caught my attention! I laughed when I heard the lyrics: “You seem so good on paper, but you're boring as Excel / And that math don't add up”. Adding to my personal playlists for sure.
End of the week sweet treat
On the way home from work this evening, I picked up Concrete Mixers from Culver’s for Alex and me. Love a good sweet treat, especially when it comes in the form of ice cream (or frozen custard in the case of Culver’s).
Have the best weekend, whatever you do! We’re looking forward to getting outside to enjoy the beautiful spring-like weather… Saturday’s going to be sunny and 70+ degrees yay.
PS — Friday Favorites #9 from last week if you’re interested.
Enjoy!
