Friday Favorites #12

Hello and Happy Friday! Welcome back to Friday Favorites, where each week I’ll be sharing a handful of things I’m loving lately. Though it’s been a minute since I’ve posted a favorites blog (four months — yikes), I’m happy to be back in the swing of things again — I’ve missed sharing little tidbits like this. Cheers to Friday friends, we made it!

New pins for my backpack

I couldn’t help myself — when I saw these pins at a local shop last weekend, I knew I had to have them. I’ve become quite the pin collector for my work and travel backpack in the last year; I love to add a mix of all sorts of pins when they speak to me (song lyrics, travel, and life). Let’s just say, these three pins SPOKE to me. Reality in 2025 haha.

My new favorite Target pants

These are the ultimate cozy, sporty pants. They’re easy to dress up or down. I bought the black and navy pairs and I’ve been living in them as of late.

One Golden Summer by Carly Fortune

My romance book of the summer. I finished it a couple weeks ago and I’m still thinking about how much I loved reading it. Made me feel very nostalgic for my childhood and teenage summers spent in the Wisconsin Northwoods at our family’s cabin. While it’s a follow-up from Every Summer After and I recommend reading that book first to get familiar with the setting and a few other small details, it’s technically a standalone novel that can be read individually. One of those books that really worked for me — I read it at the beach, in the car, and at home on the couch… I just couldn’t stop!

Yasso frozen Greek yogurt bars

My go-to “treat myself” snack lately. I’ve been love, love, loving the cookies and cream flavor. (Might be eating one while writing this post)

Late evening walks

You know what two things don’t go together? Daytime walks and the NC summertime. The heat makes it near impossible to want to spend any single minute in the blistering sun. As such, Alex and I have diverted our dog walking habits to the late evening. I quite enjoy these evening walks — getting our steps in and breathing some fresh air before bed? Good for the soul.

Have the best weekend, whatever you do! We’ve got a wedding tomorrow and no plans (yet) for Sunday. The weekend is young though.

Enjoy!
