2023 Holiday Reading

If you’re anything like me, you struggle to feel festive this time of year. The holidays are a lot of work. Decorating, baking, gift giving… it’s not my forte. I prefer a quiet, low key, more minimalist Christmas, one where I can snuggle on the couch, drink copious amounts of coffee with Baileys Irish Cream or Rum Chata (or both), and get lost in a good book or two or three. The spooky vibes are on point here: a creaking house, footsteps down the hallway in the middle of the night, shadows under the door frame and in the window, morally questionable characters with dark secrets, and a paranormal feeling, among other things. It’s good!

Here’s a list of 10 books I’m hoping to read this fall.
