Hi friends — Happy Friday and New Year 2025! I hope you had the best holiday season, however you celebrated! I can’t believe it’s my last official day off work before I’m back to the office on Monday. Talk about the Sunday Scaries — I’ve got the Weekend Jitters haha. It’s tough. As much as I want to get back into some kind of normalcy and routine, I’m just not ready for my two week holiday break to be over and done — mega sigh! Anyway… in the spirit of “Friday Favorites” (which I’m committing to bring back to the blog in 2025), today I’m sharing a list of my favorite things from 2024. I always enjoy reading these kinds of posts from other creators, so I thought it’d be fun to wrap up a list of my own this year. There’s something about fall/spooky season that brings out my desire to read books that represent (or kind of represent) the vibe of the season. For the next few months, catch me curled on the couch with a good book, a hot coffee (or a chai latte like I’m sipping now), a sweatshirt, and a big comfy blanket (always). Believe me, I WILL turn the air conditioning down to achieve prime fall cozy. Last year, I read every book on my fall reading list — let’s see if the same results are in the cards this time around! I’ve got thrillers, mysteries, and romances queued up! Here’s a list of 10 books I’m hoping to read this fall.
